Acceptance of students from abroad determined by the Council of Higher Education. Based on the criteria, only candidates in the following situations can be accepted to the quotas for students from abroad;

Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have graduated;

• Foreign nationals,
• The Recognized Rights received by those who are Turkish citizens by birth but have received permission from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to renounce Turkish citizenship, and their minor children registered in the certificate of renouncement of Turkish citizenship, in accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law. Those who document that they have a Document Regarding the Use of Turkish Citizenship (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states: "(1) A child born in marriage to a Turkish citizen mother or father within or outside Turkey is Turkish. It is useful for candidates who will apply for admission quotas from abroad to review the Turkish Citizenship Law.)
• T.R. who attended secondary education abroad before 01/02/2013. Among the national students, they are in the last third of their secondary education (high school). year of TRNC. except&cced; Those who completed their education in a foreign country, (including those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened under the Ministry of Education in a foreign country other than TRNC) as of 01/02/2013 Afterwards, candidates who started secondary education abroad completed their entire secondary education (high school) in the TRNC. except&cced; Those who completed their education in a foreign country, (including those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened under the Ministry of Education in a foreign country other than TRNC.) With citizenship acquired later while being a foreign national. T.R. Those who have acquired citizenship/those who have dual nationality in this situation, those who have dual citizenship and completed their entire high school education in a foreign country (except TRNC) (those who completed their entire high school education in a foreign country other than TRNC Including those who completed in Turkish schools),
• TRNC Those who are nationals, reside in TRNC, and have completed their high school education in TRNC and have GCE Advanced Level exam results,
• TRNC Those who are nationals and have or will have GCE Advanced Level exam results by enrolling and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010,

Applications are accepted.

Applications from the following candidates will not be accepted:

• Those who have dual citizenship and completed their entire high school education in Turkey or TRNC,
• TRNC Those who are nationals or one of their nationals is TRNC. Those who have dual citizenship (except those who have GCE Advanced Level exam results.) whose first nationality by birth is Turkish Republic as defined in subparagraph (b) of paragraph 1 of the article. Those with dual citizenship or T.R. Citizens, (except those who have completed their last three years of secondary education (high school) abroad (excluding TRNC) before 01/02/2013; and those who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) if they started after the said date. ;) T.R. students who studied at schools within the embassies in Turkey and foreign high schools in Turkey. nationals or Article 6 (1). His/her first nationality by birth as defined in paragraph (b) of paragraph (b) is Turkish. Those with dual nationality.
